TrimFabric is a customer-oriented, high-quality, high-fashion fabric & trim store. We obtain domestic materials from New York City’s famous "Garment District" as well as import items from Europe. There are very many good reasons. However, the best reasons are our quality and selection. We obtain only the finest materials from the world’s foremost houses of fashion. And these are available to you online exclusively through TrimFabric.com. We also offer an enormous selection of the latest fashions.
What kind of selection do you have?
Linen, wool, knits, flannel, polyester, cotton, crepe, prints… These are only a tiny fraction of the multitude of fine fabrics we have in stock. Our huge complex contains several thousand bolts of fabrics and millions of yard of trimming, from everyday casual to exotic haute-couture. Whether the outfit is to be worn to work, a casual get-together, or a soiree in Paris, we have the perfect fabric!
Do you send sample swatches?
Yes, we want to make ordering your perfect material as easy as possible. When a swatch is available, you will see a “Buy Swatch Here” button at the bottom right corner of the product detail page. Simply click the button, and you will be taken to a secure shopping cart page.
Will out-of-stock items become available again?
For most of the items are not reorderable, we regret to say that once an item is out of stock, it will not become available again. Therefore, when you see something that strikes your fancy, it would be wise to purchase it immediately before it is sold.
Are gift certificates available?
Yes, we are delighted to make gift certificates available. They are very popular not only at gift-giving time but any time. Sewing enthusiasts, retailers, designers and others will appreciate receiving such a thoughtful gift. Even those who don’t sew will appreciate a certificate. For example, those with big tastes but small budgets can redecorate with just a few fabrics and trims strategically tossed over furniture and fixtures!

What is the availability of items?
When you are ready to order, we are ready to ship! Every fabric listed on this site is ready to be shipped to you immediately! Sometimes an item you've ordered is out of stock or short of yardage. Our customer service representative will inform you by e-mail if any items in your order prove to be unavailable. Therefore, please contact us asap if you would like to substitute for another item(s). We will ship out the rest of the items in your order unless we have received your request to substitute for individual item(s) in your order.
What is the minimum yardage you will sell or cut?
In order to serve all our clients to our best ability, minimum cut is one yard.
How do I find out more about an item?
Click on the item image or item title. Doing so will take you to the item page, which lists all the details about the item. We want you to know all the specifics so that you can make an informed purchase.
What happens after I have placed my order?
You will immediately receive acknowledgement of your order submittal as well as an order confirmation with an order number.

Can I make changes to my order after it has been submitted?
Since we are dedicated to helping our customers, we will try our best to make changes when we can. In other words, if your order has not yet been packed, we will try our utmost to make your changes. In order to make a change, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
How can I find out the status of an online order?
You will receive the order status in the order confirmation email.
What is your return policy?
If you are not satisfied, you can return unopened items within 15 days of delivery for a full refund. Items must be returned in original condition, no cut. No returns can be accepted after 15 days. The original shipping charge is not refundable. We will credit you in the same manner in which you paid for the purchase. Please allow the time upon receipt of the returned merchandise and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request.
You must first email us at email@example.com to let us know which item you are returning and provide us a tracking or delivery confirmation # of your return package. You will then be given a return confirmation # of this return.
In your return package, please include your receipt containing the order number, indicate which item(s) you're returning.
When will my order arrive?
Usually it takes us 3 to 7 business days (Monday through Friday) to process your order, unless your order is incomplete, short of yardage. In this case, our customer service representative will inform you by e-mail if any items in your order prove to be unavailable. Therefore, please contact us asap if you would like to substitute for another item(s). We will ship out the rest of the items in your order unless we have received your request to substitute for individual item(s) in your order.
Transit times are estimates only and do not constitute any guarantee of delivery on a specific day.
What shipping carriers do you use?
We generally use two very reliable shipping services: UPS (United Parcel Service) and USPS (United States Postal Service).
Do you provide express or rush delivery?
We are glad to offer services such as UPS Next Day Air® and UPS 2nd Day Air® to most destinations. If rush shipment is needed, place your order immediately and write down the latest date that you must receive your order in the comment box at checkout.
We will then send you an email to let you know the actual shipping charge and all possible shipping methods to meet your deadline. However, if we don't receive a response from you, we will automatically adjust the shipping and expedite your order in order to meet your deadline.
*Please note: package delivers on Monday through Friday.
Do you ship outside of the United States?
We sure do! TrimFabric ships worldwide. International orders will be delivered via Airmail or Global Priority Mail. Only the actual shipping cost will be billed. US Mail will be used for APO and FPO addresses and for residents of Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Marshal Islands, Palau, US Virgin Islands and Guam. Actual shipping will not show up during checkout. It will add to your total later. If you need us to confirm you the shipping charge before shipment, please write a note at the comment box. Otherwise, we will ship your order with the actual shipping charge.
How do I know if my order has been shipped?
We will inform you by e-mail to keep you up-to-date. Sometimes an item you've ordered is out of stock or short of yardage. In such cases, our customer service representative will inform you by e-mail if any items in your order prove to be unavailable. Therefore, please contact us asap if you would like to substitute for another item(s). Do I need to register in order to make a purchase?
No, you do not need to register in order to purchase from TrimFabric.com.
